About Lonna
Meet Lonna, a sweet and snuggly 6-year-old female Chihuahua mix, weighing around 16 pounds. With her affectionate demeanor and playful spirit, she perfectly embodies the balance between a calm companion and a little goofball. Lonna enjoys shadowing her people, often curling up next to them and sneaking in kisses. She's developed an adorable trick where she sits up on her hind legs and begs for snacks, making it hard to resist her charm. Currently in a foster home, Lonna shares her space with two resident dogs and is slowly becoming more confident, even initiating playtime. She enjoys her leash walks, exploring her surroundings, and is learning new commands, especially since she loves treats. However, Lonna is still working on her house training and might need a little guidance from her future family. While Lonna can be nervous in new situations, a calm, adult-only home would be ideal for her. She doesn't require constant entertainment; rather, she thrives with a loving atmosphere, daily walks, and perhaps a friendly canine companion. If you're ready for a gentle little friend who brings a surprising amount of silliness, Lonna could be the perfect addition to your home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
