About Dixie
Meet Dixie, your new little shadow! At just about 3 months old, she appears to be a delightful blend of German Shorthaired Pointer and Beagle. Dixie, along with her brother Colt, was left at a Texas shelter when they were even younger, and they were sadly overlooked multiple times. Luckily, she's now on her way to a brighter future and is eager to find her forever family. Dixie is the outgoing half of the duo, always wanting to be where her people are. Whether you’re busy in the kitchen or just relaxing at home, she’s right there beside you. This girl takes her job as your personal companion seriously. Although she's still learning about the world, her desire to be close to her favorite people shines through. Having experienced abandonment at such a young age, Dixie now seeks a loving family that will always make her feel at home. If you’re looking for a built-in best friend who loves company and believes personal space is overrated, Dixie might be the perfect match for you! Fostered in Brownsville, TX, she's ready to find her place in the world with you. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters, so you don’t have to live in Texas to welcome her into your home. Don't let her get overlooked again; let’s find her the family she truly deserves!
