About Rook

Meet Rook, a precious young kitty who came to the shelter with several other cats from an outdoor property. He’s currently getting used to his new surroundings, and while some of his companions are adapting well, Rook is a bit more timid. You'll often find him tucked under the cat tree, snuggling with his feline friends for comfort. At just 5 months old, Rook has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He enjoys the company of other cats and would really benefit from a cat buddy who can help him feel safe and engaged during his adjustment period. Currently, he’s being treated for feline lice, but rest assured, he’s in good hands. Come meet Rook at our shelter during public visiting hours: Tuesday through Friday from 1-6 pm or Saturday from 11 am-3 pm. You can also learn more about adopting by visiting www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
