About Princess Donut the Queen

Meet Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk, a 4-year-old bulldog-mix who weighs approximately 70 pounds and is ready to rule your heart. She’s looking for a devoted court to shower her with love, playtime, and recognition whenever she struts into a room. Despite overcoming significant medical hurdles, Princess Donut remains a cheerful and friendly companion, greeting newcomers with a wagging tail and the expectation of adoration. She enjoys exploring her surroundings and thrives on new adventures. Although she's blind, that hasn't dampened her spirit. She navigates her environment with confidence, learns the layout of her home swiftly, and even manages stairs like a true queen. Her perfect adopter will understand the unique joys and challenges of living with a blind dog—offering verbal guidance, helping her adapt to new spaces, and ensuring her safety around potential hazards like roads and pools. Donut doesn’t require someone to do everything for her; she needs a supportive partner ready to accompany her on her next journeys. Like any noble monarch, Donut requires a routine to stay healthy. She manages her skin allergies with a hydrolyzed diet, regular baths, and weekly Cytopoint injections. Although she can hear, her past ear infections have caused some narrowing in her ear canals, so weekly cleaning is part of her upkeep. Additionally, she recently had mast cell tumors removed and will need ongoing veterinary attention to monitor her health. Self-pity isn't in her vocabulary—Princess Donut is busy exploring and spreading joy. She’s on the lookout for a loving kingdom where she can be treasured, nurtured, and just a little spoiled. Your new best friend is just one click away.
