About Ariel

Ariel’s story starts in a cardboard box, whisked away from rescue to rescue by relatives in a hurry to leave town. Her owner was too ill to care for her, leaving Ariel at the mercy of strangers. By the time she arrived at FUR, there was no doubt she would have faced abandonment without a second chance. Now safe, Ariel is beginning to show her true self. This soft, medium-haired grey girl has a gentle, expressive face and a heart that longs to trust. Initially, she might seem a little scared by new places and people, folding inward and appearing small and unsure. However, once she realizes she’s in a safe space, her affectionate nature shines through. She loves to lean into your hand for pets, stretch across your lap, and chirp for attention, especially when her beloved feather toys appear. Ariel is playful, tender, and full of love. She needs someone patient and kind to help her blossom. When she feels secure, her warmth and affection make it a joy to be chosen by her. If you're seeking a cat whose trust is a precious gift and whose softness is only rivaled by her sweetness, Ariel is waiting for you.
