About Luna

Meet Luna! Luna is a sweet German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix whose journey started in a Houston shelter, where she arrived in a heartbreaking state, severely underweight and searching for her missing puppies. Her story took a hopeful turn when a caring foster family stepped in just before she was added to the euthanasia list. With their love and support, Luna has transformed. She now enjoys the simple joys of being a dog—playing with toys, going for walks, and hopping into the car for new adventures. This lovely girl gets along beautifully with children, other dogs, and everyone she meets. She's both kennel trained and potty trained, asking for just a comfy spot to rest, regular activity, and plenty of love. Luna has a medium energy level and would be thrilled to find an active family or individual to include her in their daily adventures. Despite her past, Luna seeks nothing extravagant—just a family who will cherish her as she truly deserves. She's about 3 years old and already spayed. The first step to adopting this remarkable dog is completing an application. Luna is currently in Houston, TX, but can be transported to various locations across the country. Her adoption fee is $600, which covers transport and her heartworm treatment, wrapping up in November. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
