About Topaz

Meet Topaz! This handsome brown tabby arrived with his siblings, including Agate, and initially came to us in a semi-feral state, unsure of human interaction. As he learns to trust, it's been a slow but rewarding journey. Topaz has a shy personality, taking his time to warm up to people. He needs a calm home where patience and consistency are priorities. Building a friendship with him is about earning his trust, which makes it all the more special when he finally chooses you. He didnโ€™t grow up knowing the joys of a cozy bed or chin scratches, so he needs someone who understands that it may take time for him to feel comfortable. While Topaz isnโ€™t quick to jump into the arms of a stranger, weโ€™ve seen glimpses of his potential to form a deep bond with the right person. If youโ€™re patient and willing to let him take the lead, you may just find that this shy little guy becomes one of the most rewarding friendships youโ€™ve ever had.
