Cookie is a 13-year-old male Domestic Long Hair, medium-sized cat with a long orange and white coat. He is house trained, vaccinated, and has been neutered. While he weighs approximately 5 pounds after a recent recovery, his spirit remains bright. Located in Pottstown, PA, he is eager to find a loving forever home.

About Cookie

Cookie was born into a colony in July 2013 and found his way to Cat NAPS for socialization and adoption hopes. Initially adopted as an adorable long-haired orange kitten, he enjoyed five happy years until a fire forced him into a motel, causing him to become stressed and retreat to the basement upon returning home. His adopter recognized he deserved a better life and returned him to the rescue. A second adoption in December 2018 led him to Spring City, but by July 2025, we received troubling reports of issues that prompted a vet visit. Unfortunately, there was a lapse in communication, leading to a shocking discovery in April 2026, where Cookie was found in a neglected state, emaciated and covered in mats. After addressing his health issues and giving him time to recover, Cookie has regained his gentlemanly demeanor. Now at 13 years old, he is ready for a loving home where he can finally enjoy his golden years. Cookie is sweet and gentle, gets along well with other cats and children, and is house trained. His medications can be easily administered via a cream on his skin. Cookie is currently looking for that special place to call home once more. Every animal deserves a happy ending, and this one starts with you.
