About Dorothy

Sweet Dorothy was rescued from a stray colony on the South Shore of Chicago, where she spent many years wandering. Her life has not been easy; she was sick and underweight when found. Thankfully, after medical care, she is thriving. Currently, she receives daily insulin shots for diabetes, but her treatment is manageable and cost-effective. Dorothy is a gentle soul who loves sunbathing and following her humans around. She's incredibly polite and has even helped raise several foster kittens, showing both kindness and the ability to discipline them when needed. This lovely lady is about 7 to 8 years old and is ready for a loving forever home. Dorothy is house-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. It’s her turn to find the home she truly deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
