About Apricot
Apricot is available for adoption by appointment. Just reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org to schedule a visit. This sweet girl has a laid-back personality. She loves to nap during the day but is starting to show her playful side. Apricot enjoys giving kisses, often wiggling right up to your face to share her affection. She adores booty scratches and has a hilarious expression when you hit just the right spot. A master pillow fort maker, she brings calm and creativity to any space. When it comes to walks, she does well on a leash, although she can be a bit stubborn if woken from a nap too soon. She's almost completely potty trained but might need a little patience as she adjusts to her new home. Apricot is crate-trained but settles quickly, especially with a peanut butter lick mat. Overall, she coexists happily with cats and dogs, though she prefers dogs that like to hang out rather than engage in constant play. She hasnโt spent time with children yet, but sheโs friendly and wiggly when meeting new people. This lovely girl is in Des Moines, IA, and ready to find her forever home. What are you waiting for?
