About Cooper
Meet Cooper! This charming three-year-old Bernadoodle is a mellow, affectionate guy who thinks there’s no such thing as too much human attention. Cooper arrived at AFRP alongside his possible sister, Velma. At about 57 pounds, he’s a big-hearted companion looking for a loving family. Though new to the rescue, we've discovered that Cooper is a pleasant walking buddy who does well on a leash, but he will benefit from some basic obedience training to bolster his confidence and manners. He’s not particularly food-motivated, so his new family may have to get creative with training rewards; he thrives on attention, affection, and time spent with loved ones! Cooper loves being right by your side, whether it’s lounging at your feet or snuggling up for cuddles. He’s eager to find a family that will offer patience, guidance, and abundant love as he transitions to his forever home. Plus, his stunning Bernadoodle coat will need regular professional grooming to keep him looking sharp. As for potty training, he is currently being crate trained and has been doing well with his nighttime routine and potty breaks outside. If you’re searching for a gentle companion ready to share his heart, Cooper might be the one for you! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
