About Shrewberry

Meet Shrewberry! At just 7 months old, Shrewberry is ready for a fresh start after facing tough challenges. He weighs about 30 lbs, making him a petite yet sturdy companion. The photos might not capture his true spirit, but he has a lot of love to give. Discovered as a stray, he arrived at the rescue covered in fleas and scars, and his eyes tell a story of resilience. He was malnourished, which has led him to guard his food. This behavior is understandable given his past, so he'll need an owner who can guide him patiently through this phase. A trainer will be available to support his progress. Due to his resource guarding, he would do best in a home without children. Shrewberry will soon undergo dog and cat testing as he continues to adapt to life at the rescue. Adopters must be located within two hours of Mechanicsburg, PA.
