About Dottie Lee
Dottie Lee is a sweet and affectionate 5-year-old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier mix ready to find her forever home. Currently located in Texas, she's thriving in a foster home and absolutely adores her canine companions. While she came from a challenging background involving a hoarding situation, Dottie has proven to be a loving and playful soul, eager for a family who can patiently help her adjust to her new life. Dottie enjoys playing chase with her foster sisters and is equally happy snuggling up for a cozy nap. She is nearly house-trained and has excellent crate manners, making her an easy fit for any home. With a gentle nudge, she will learn more on leash walking and basic commands, showing her potential as a quick learner. This girl is particularly fond of her foster dad and loves being close to him. Though she may bark at newcomers, she quickly warms up once she senses their friendly intentions. An ideal home for Dottie would be one filled with older teens or adults where she can continue to build her confidence with positive reinforcement training.
