While she loves attention from humans, she prefers to be the only pet in the home, focusing on love and companionship from her favorite humans. She's a delightful presence at approximately 8 lbs, always seeking out snuggles.

Meet Karen! Karen's adventure began when she called out from my back sliding door, eager to be let inside. Since that day, she hasn’t hesitated to share her opinions! When she first showed up, her body was marked with cuts and bite wounds, hinting at a rough encounter with another animal. This left her understandably defensive around other pets, though I can’t hold that against her. For now, she's settled into her own spacious enclosure, high above the ground, where she keeps a watchful eye on her surroundings, a true queen of her domain. Though she can observe other animals without issue, Karen doesn't share her space easily. She'll swat or hiss if another cat gets too close, but surprisingly, she’s comfortable in my lap while my dog lounges nearby. While I don't think she’s ready for a furry companion just yet, with some time, she may tolerate a calm, respectful animal. On the other hand, Karen adores humans! She’s a certified attention-seeker and is happiest when she’s surrounded by people. She earned her name by always voicing her dissatisfaction when she’s not the center of attention. Toys don’t capture her interest; it’s all about food, snuggles, and ensuring her humans know exactly what she wants. This affectionate girl loves being handled and cuddled, making it clear she craves human companionship. All of our kitties, including Karen, are fully vetted. They come spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Ready to meet this wonderful companion?
