He seems to be friendly and gets along well with children, cats, and other dogs. Situated in Phoenix, AZ, he's eager to find that perfect home where he can feel safe and loved.

About Chai

Chai is a charming Cocker Spaniel who’s ready for a forever home. This affectionate gentleman weighs 19 pounds and boasts a lovely black coat. Though the county shelter estimated him at five years, we believe he’s closer to eight. What’s clear is that Chai has a big heart and so much love to give. When he arrived at the Maricopa County shelter, Chai was shut down and at risk, but thankfully Home Fur Good stepped in to offer him a new chance. After receiving the care he needed, he’s beginning to shine again! He wags his adorable nub tail and gently paws at his kennel door when he craves attention. You can see him bloom as he leans in for pets, always asking for just a little more. Chai walks well on a leash and has been a true gentleman with everyone at the rescue. He seems to get along with children, cats, and other dogs, although introductions should always be conducted carefully. This sweet boy deserves a warm home where he can relax and feel safe. With just a bit of kindness, he’ll flourish. Chai’s adoption fee is waived, covering essentials like spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
