About Mako

Meet Mako! This handsome mixed-breed boy is about 2 years old and joined us from a rural Georgia shelter. Abandoned by his owner and left outside with an elderly family member, he arrived feeling scared and shut down. However, Mako is slowly coming out of his shell, showing his true loving nature with each passing day. He walks nicely on a leash, interacts well with other dogs, and once he feels comfortable, he transforms into a total lovebug. He's faced tough times, but Mako is determined to learn and socialize. This smart and athletic pup is ready to embrace the love he deserves and start fresh. Could you be the one to give Mako the best years of his life? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
