About Micah

Micah is ready for her second chance at life. Not long ago, she faced a dire situation in a DC shelter, just two days away from euthanasia. Thankfully, the Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue Team stepped in, giving her the chance she desperately needed. Now, in her foster home, Micah is discovering what it means to be safe and loved. This young, energetic girl has an abundance of puppy spirit. She enjoys running, playing, and exploring, although she can get a bit mouthy when excited—just a sign she's still learning her manners. Micah can be a little nervous around new people, sometimes defensive if uncertain, but with patience, she opens up to reveal her fun side. She get along well with other dogs after proper introductions and shows curiosity towards cats without displaying aggression. Micah is making great progress with house training, although she's not quite perfect yet. A fenced yard would be ideal for her to burn off all her youthful energy. Micah is looking for a loving family who understands the importance of patience and training. She’s come so far, but there's still more adventure ahead for her.
