Blaze is a medium-sized, neutered male Pit Bull Terrier mix with a short brindle coat. He is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Currently in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, he is making great progress in his socialization and would thrive with patient and understanding owners.

About Blaze

Blaze once arrived at the rescue feeling scared and under-socialized, but he’s blossomed into a sweet boy. He enjoys playing with toys and loves to be close to his people, showing a mellow demeanor. Recently, he visited a home and charmed the family, enjoying playtime with their three children aged 4, 13, and 16. Blaze also handled the presence of four cats, including kittens, with remarkable patience. Though he's made significant strides, Blaze is a work in progress. He’s still learning his house manners and potty training, and he does experience some separation anxiety, so crating him when alone is advised. Additionally, he can be fearful or protective around unfamiliar men, and patient introductions will be necessary. Blaze needs a loving family who understands that he isn't a finished product. He may not require a perfect home, but he deserves someone willing to help him discover the world and grow comfortable in it. Ready to meet Blaze? Your new best friend awaits!
