About Iris

Iris is a lively husky Australian shepherd mix, approximately 5-6 years old. She adores her toys and loves to play fetch, hike, and splash around in the water. Iris thrives in a home with a securely fenced yard, either a privacy fence or one that is at least 6 feet tall, as she is quite the climber. She gets along well with other female dogs, regardless of size, and is known for her affection towards cats; she can cuddle with them all day. However, Iris is not suited for homes with children under 10. She requires a dedicated adopter who understands her need for professional training and is ready to invest time in her development. Regular grooming is also essential, especially to prevent her from developing "grinch toes." Weighing in at 65 lbs, Iris is fully vetted and ready to bring joy to a new family.
