About Trixie
Meet Trixie! Trixie is a petite terrier mix, weighing just 9 pounds with long, fluffy hair and a charming curly fountain tail. Spotted among a sea of small dogs at the Carson Shelter, her playful name fits her personality perfectly. Trixie brings joy to her foster home, running around like a tiny circus performer and making everyone laugh. Despite being the smallest in her household, Trixie has the confidence of a big dog. She's an excellent watchdog, always alert to who’s coming and going, but she also knows when it’s time to relax. At night, you can find her burrowed under the covers, and during the day, she plays hard with her toys and foster siblings, even taking on the role of referee in tug-of-war games. While she can be a bit cautious around new people, once she trusts you, prepare for kisses and snuggles. Trixie thrives with a dog companion who matches her energy and is both spayed and fully vaccinated. She’s about 95% potty trained, so a little supervision is needed to ensure she gets outside on time. This spirited little girl is ready to be your entertaining companion for life!
