About Cheddar

Meet Cheddar! This little orange tabby is about to embark on an exciting journey into house cat life. He’s still a touch shy but is discovering that having humans around can be a rewarding experience. Cheddar was born to a feral mother in Lincolnville, St. Augustine, and was first spotted in July. Thanks to a kind individual, he received food and care until he could find a safe foster home. Now neutered, Cheddar is learning to enjoy the comforts of family life. His wonderful foster family is helping him with socialization, allowing him to gain confidence about humans. Cheddar needs a patient and understanding family that can support his gradual adjustment and celebrate every milestone along the way. With time, love, and positive experiences, we believe Cheddar will blossom into a loving companion. He’s looking for a family that will let him discover the joys of being loved. Keep in mind, all Ayla's Acres cats must be indoor-only, and adopting kittens requires pairing with another friendly cat or adopting into an existing home. Home visits and an application are necessary prior to adoption. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
