About Ivy

Ivy is a spirited young chow mix who has embraced her new life after being rescued from the streets. Weighing about 44 lbs, this medium-sized black beauty features an adorable underbite. Once a stray, now she's vaccinated and spayed, and she's eager for positive companionship. She shows off her smarts by knowing commands like sit, down, go around, and wait. While she walks well on a leash, she gets a little excited when meeting other dogs. Though she's not compatible with cats or small animals, she enjoys the company of her fellow canines and loves her visits to the dog park, where she can play for hours. Ivy has that perfect balance of medium to high energy and can settle down nicely afterward. She’s fully housebroken and can manage being home alone for 8 to 10 hours with a doggie door. Ivy may bark when strangers come to the house but isn't excessively noisy. She absolutely adores car rides and behaves well while tied out when you stop for a quick outing. This affectionate pup would thrive as a companion for an individual or family without small pets. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
