About Liz

Liz is a five-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever in search of a forever home. Weighing around 60lbs, she comes to us from a challenging past and is gradually embracing the kindness of a caring environment. Being timid at first, she’s most comfortable when around other dogs, so a canine sibling in the home is a must to help guide her. This sweet girl has some fears, particularly around doorways, requiring a patient family ready to support her journey. Sleeping on a comfortable bed is still a new experience for her as she's used to harder surfaces, but ear rubs definitely bring her joy. Although quick movements may frighten her, Liz is now starting to explore toys and chew bones, revealing her playful side. Given her background, Liz would thrive in a home without young children, only those aged 12 and older are recommended. A fenced yard will also help her feel secure as she settles in. With an adoption fee of $375 covering her spay, microchip, vaccinations, and more, she's ready to find her place in a loving family. Each day, Liz is learning the beauty of love and companionship.
