About Mickey

Meet Mickey! Mickey is a charming Shih Tzu looking for a loving home. At three years old, he has faced some neglect in the past, but he's thriving in his foster care and is ready to find his forever family. This sweet boy takes a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he becomes incredibly cuddly and affectionate. Mickey enjoys pushing his face into your chest and gently nibbling on your hands, creating endearing moments. He loves playing fetch with soft toys and eagerly returns them for another round. Treat-motivated, he’s making great progress with commands and walks nicely on a leash, happily exploring the neighborhood. Mickey can be left alone for a few hours and sleeps quietly in his X-pen at night. He has had a few potty accidents initially but has since corrected that behavior. Though he occasionally barks at outdoor noises, he calms down quickly. Mickey gets along well with other dogs and may do fine with cats too. However, he is not suited for a home with children as their unpredictable movements can unsettle him. He tends to distrust men, but a confident dog companion could help ease his worries. Mickey is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
