About Gilliam

Gilliam is a delightful little girl with unique Tabico (Calico/Tabby) markings. She has gracefully bounced back from a tough start, having been rescued with a severe skin condition and a hind leg tragically lost due to injury. After medical treatment, her skin has healed beautifully, and she now showcases a little scar on her side, a reminder of her resilience. While she can be a bit shy and quiet at first, Gilliam becomes affectionately engaged once she feels comfortable. She thrives on interaction with other cats and has formed a bond with a furry friend who shares a different disability. Even with just three legs, Gilliam is adventurous, showcasing her climbing and running skills, occasionally curling up quietly either alone or with her best buddy. Her playful spirit shines through as she enjoys anything from boxes to paper—it’s all fun for her! Though she’s not a fussy eater and happily shares, she also benefits from a low-entry litter box as balance can be tricky. Gilliam requires some help to groom areas that are tough to reach with her right leg. She’s fully spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a loving home. Gilliam’s birthday is estimated to be July 10, 2026, and she has a bright future ahead. If you are ready to open your heart to this brave girl, visit her at Petco in Redondo Beach on weekends from 12-3pm. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
