Meet Truffle. Truffle is a 1.5-year-old Russian Blue mix and, despite weighing 14 pounds, he’s still very much a baby at heart. He’s a long, muscular guy, not chubby, and has the sweetest little meow reminiscent of a kitten. His journey to becoming a house cat wasn't easy. Hungry and suffering from a severe case of mange, he showed up in someone's yard pleading for food. Thankfully, a kind person contacted our rescue team before he faced euthanasia. After endless baths and treatment, Truffle patiently endured it all without a hint of aggression. He remained gentle and trusting, showing immense bravery despite his rough past. Now, he’s a professional cuddler, thriving on affection. Truffle rolls onto his back in delight, loving to soak up pets for hours. He’s the perfect couch companion, always eager to snuggle up for cozy evenings. Living in a busy foster home filled with other cats, Truffle is beloved. His kind nature draws other cats to him, who snuggle against his warm body, enjoying his peaceful presence. Truffle has a remarkable gift for making others feel safe. As a gentle soul, he needs a home that understands his tender nature, allowing him to bloom at his own pace. Truffle is FIV-positive, but this shouldn't deter you. FIV doesn’t mean he's sick; he's healthy and vibrant. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy lives without any related health issues.
