About Brownie
Meet Brownie! Brownie is a 1.5-year-old, 42-pound Shepherd mix bursting with energy and affection. She has a personality that truly shines; in her eyes, the world revolves around her, and perhaps she’s right! Rescued from tough beginnings in South Texas, she was once frail and covered in fleas. Thankfully, Brownie received the love she needed, but as she grew, her spirited personality emerged, leading to a surrender by her family to a sanctuary where she’s been for seven months now—waiting for someone special to give her a forever home. Brownie is sweet and vocal, letting you know when her needs aren’t being met or when she’s delighted. She thrives on attention, and while she’d be happy as your one-and-only dog, she loves fellow canines too. Brownie adores kids and would thrive with a playful family. Although not yet formally tested with cats, her friendly nature suggests she could adjust well with the right introductions. Currently working on her house manners, Brownie is crate-trained and eager to learn more with a devoted family. She has plenty of energy and is looking for an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor fun. Watching her chase birds (safely, of course) is just one of her countless charms. After everything she’s been through, Brownie deserves a loving family that appreciates her big heart and vivacious personality. For anyone ready to enjoy an adventure with this lovable diva, Brownie eagerly awaits your application! Don't wait too long—she’s ready to find her forever home. What are you waiting for?
