About Elmer

Meet Elmer, a charming two-year-old beagle and Basset Hound mix who loves to stick by your side, much like glue. He joined us from a hoarding situation in St. Louis, Missouri, and while he might be a bit shy at first, he quickly transforms into a social butterfly once you get to know him. Elmerโ€™s distinctive floppy ears are always flipped back, making him irresistibly cute. He gets along well with other dogs and even shared a foster home with cats with no issues. Elmer is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He does have some patchy skin, a remnant from a flea issue that has since been resolved, and a vet has suggested feeding him from a ceramic bowl to aid in his healing. Ideal for families with a fenced yard, Elmer's adoption fee is set at $300. Currently based in Columbus, Ohio, he's eager to meet his new family. If you're interested in bringing this lovable boy into your home, please fill out the online application on our website. Each step brings you closer to a wonderful companion!
