About Sprout

Sprout is a delightful purebred Beagle who spent his first year in a cage at a breeding and testing facility. He experienced a life devoid of kindness, play, and companionship. Fortunately, Sprout joined BAARK in June, bringing with him an air of confusion that's slowly dissipating with each passing day. Now, Sprout is friendly and even cuddly, quite a contrast to some of his friends from the same facility who are still recovering from their past. He plays joyfully with toys, enjoys chewing bones, and loves running around with other Beagles. While he can be mischievous—getting into trouble with his Beagle pals—he also thrives on the kindness of people. He is doing well with housebreaking, though he still needs to get comfortable on a leash and in the car. Potential adopters should have experience with Beagles and already have one in the home, as well as a secure fenced yard. Sprout’s new home should be a single-family house where someone is around most of the time. He's young and full of energy, always curious about the world around him.
