About Lily

Lily is a striking young cat who has spent the last few months raising her adorable trio known as the Candy Crew: Chicklet, Gumdrop, and Sugar Baby, all of whom are available for adoption. While she has demonstrated her stellar parenting skills, transitioning back to life outdoors after this period of comfort is likely to be a challenge for her. Having lived somewhat feral, she has recently enjoyed the warmth and safety of indoor life. Lily thrives on affection and often seeks pets when she's eating, showing her appreciation for human companionship. She is looking for a foster or forever home where she can continue to learn about love and trust. Lily will be vaccinated and spayed and ready for adoption in November, but she’s ready for a caring foster home now. Offering her a safe space would be a precious gift for this remarkable cat. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

Questions about Lily

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Lily, being a Tabby, typically adapts well to indoor living environments where she can feel safe and secure. Given her semi-feral background, a calm, nurturing home would be ideal to help her adjust and continue to build trust with her humans.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Generally, Tabby cats like Lily can thrive in a variety of settings, including homes with small yards or even apartments. However, a safe, enclosed outdoor area can be beneficial for their exercise and enrichment.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

While Lily can be gentle around people, her past as a semi-feral cat means she might need a quieter environment than a bustling family home. Older children who understand cat behavior might be a better match for her.
