Scout is an 8-year-old, male domestic short hair mix. He weighs a healthy medium size and is house trained. He has been altered and is up to date on vaccinations. Currently, he is located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

About Scout

Scout was adopted in April 2019, but unfortunately, he developed a urinary blockage that required surgery. His previous adopter couldn’t afford the procedure, leading to Scout being surrendered back to our care for his recovery. Now, he’s fully healed and thriving, but he will need Veterinary Prescription Urinary Food for life to help prevent any future issues. Scout is best suited for indoor homes unless part of a barn cat program. Home visits are a requirement, and we limit adoptions to around 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa residents only, please—no out-of-state applications. To meet Scout, make sure to schedule an appointment through our Facebook page or website. Our Cedar Rapids adoption center is open by appointment only. Give him the chance he deserves to find a forever home!
