Meet Freya, a lovely mixed-breed girl who's nearly 2 years old. Freya has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations, including heartworm prevention. She originally came to the shelter heavily pregnant and has since been a fantastic mother to her five puppies. Now that they’re growing up, it’s Freya’s turn to find a loving home where she can feel cherished. Freya is medium-sized and will likely weigh around 50 to 55 pounds when she reaches her ideal weight. She has lived with children before but would do best in a home with older kids or adults, as she needs a family that can provide her with the patience and love she deserves. Although Freya has previously gotten along well with other dogs, she's been a bit unsure around unfamiliar ones while caring for her puppies.
