About Lucy
Lucy is a beautiful 3-year-old Border Collie who embodies the breed's intelligence and devotion. With a temperament that's sweet and loving, she enjoys being around people and often tries to climb into your lap for kisses and petting. Tug-of-war and playing with her jolly ball are among her favorite activities. This smart girl knows commands like sit, down, and stay, and she is crate trained. Although Lucy is housetrained, she occasionally has submissive wetting when her leash is attached. She came to the rescue a bit fearful of walks but has made great strides in overcoming that fear. Lucy is up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, and is heartworm negative. For her best fit, Lucy needs to be the only dog in a home without cats due to her strong herd drive. Though she hasn't been extensively tested with children, her interactions while on walks suggest that small children may not be ideal for her. Lucy is looking for an active home where she can be engaged; she's not one for lounging aroundβthis girl needs a job! Ready to bring home a smart and energetic companion?
