About Shayla

Meet little Shayla, a playful four-month-old pup weighing around 20 lbs. She and her brothers, Sammy and Leo, had an adventurous start on the beaches of PiΓ±ones Loiza in Puerto Rico. Thankfully, they were rescued and now Shayla is on the lookout for a loving home. At this age, Shayla is ready to explore the world around her. She's excited about neighborhood walks, toy-filled baskets, and cozy nap spots. This little one is eager for a family willing to embrace all the joys of puppyhood, as well as help her adapt to her new life. Shayla is a mixed breed, likely a blend of Labrador and perhaps some other breeds, which makes her truly unique. While she's about 20 lbs now, her final size is a mystery. Although she is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, Shayla is not house trained yet, so she’ll need a patient family to guide her. She's also great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion. If you're ready to embrace this sweet girl's energy and charm, consider filling out an application to foster-to-adopt her. This way, you can start the journey together while providing Shayla a home filled with love.
