About Tater Tot

Meet Tater Tot! This little miracle has been a bundle of joy since the very beginning. Rescued at just one day old from a ditch in South Texas, Tater Tot's journey began with the incredible support of our volunteers. They crawled into the ditch not just to save her but to bring her and her mama into a warm, loving environment. Her mama is a lovely 8-pound long-haired Chihuahua, just as sweet as Tater Tot herself. After finding her forever home, Tater Tot is now ready to find hers. We believe her dad may have been a stray Australian Shepherd, making her size a delightful mystery as she's expected to remain on the smaller side, unlike her dad’s 60 pounds. Tater Tot embodies everything you want in a puppy: sweet, affectionate, and playful. She's great with other dogs, cats, and children, having grown up in a nurturing home full of love. From day one, Tater Tot has known nothing but joy and care, shaping her into the confident puppy she is today. Our little hero has survived against the odds, thanks to the kindness of a caring community. Now, who will be lucky enough to give Tater Tot a forever home? She's patiently waiting for a loving partner to share her life with. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
