About Pita

Meet Pita. Pita is a delightful 12-year-old tuxedo cat eager to find his permanent home. He loves to curl up in laps and enjoys plenty of head scratches. Pita is FIV-positive, but don’t let that worry you. With routine vet visits and a proper diet, cats with FIV can enjoy long, happy lives—often just as lengthy as their non-FIV counterparts. Importantly, FIV isn't transmissible to humans or dogs and primarily spreads among cats through deep bites. Thankfully, Pita is more of a lover than a fighter—living with him is simply enjoying life with a cat. He’s looking for a calm indoor environment where he can feel safe and cherished. If you see the cat instead of the diagnosis, Pita might be the perfect match for you. Feel free to reach out for more information about FIV. Come meet Pita today!
