Mama Nala is a 2-year-old female hound mix, weighing 30 pounds. She has a short coat and is a lovely yellow/tan color, complemented with black markings. While she's still learning to potty outside, she's crate trained and feels happiest in her crate. Nala is looking for a patient adopter who can help her gain confidence. She is not marked as having special needs, and currently, her adoption fee is not waived.

About Nala

Meet Mama Nala! This petite 30-pound mixed-breed sweetheart is on a journey to discover what it means to feel safe and loved. Initially shy and cautious around new people, she has already made remarkable progress in her social skills. Mama Nala gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats, though she can be a bit scared of them. She’s crate trained and prefers the comfort of her crate, where she feels safest. Though she's still learning to potty outside, she's already pee-pad trained. A fenced-in backyard would help her thrive. Throughout her time with us, Mama Nala has shown no signs of food or toy guarding, making her quite gentle and kind. She's looking for someone patient enough to earn her trust, and once that bond is formed, you’ll find a loyal and loving companion in her. Nala doesn't need a perfect home; she just needs a chance to shine. Help Mama Nala find her forever family!
