Despite his charm while at the shelter, Buddy struggles to acclimate in new homes, having been adopted twice and returned both times. At Pet Savers, he seeks attention, enjoys being petted, and can even be held. However, he often feels overwhelmed once outside the shelter, hiding away and hissing in fear.
