About Daisy
Meet Daisy, your next hiking buddy and loyal companion! Daisy is an 8.5-year-old spayed Shepherd mix with a sweet personality and a love for adventure, eagerly awaiting a new home due to her family's change in circumstances. After spending much of her life with one family, she's ready to start fresh and find a loving family who will help her embark on her next chapter. Don’t let her age fool you—Daisy has plenty of energy and is always up for an adventure. Whether it’s a brisk walk or a car ride, she’s your girl. She's comfortable around adults and children, but her enthusiasm might be overwhelming for younger kids. Daisy is housebroken and crate trained, happily settling down in her crate at night. On walks, she does best at a solid pace but can pull on the leash if she spots a squirrel or chipmunk. With a high prey drive, an active home that can offer her the exercise and adventure she craves is perfect. She isn’t bothered by the sounds of the outdoors, making her a fantastic companion for adventures. Daisy may enjoy sharing her space with another dog, provided there’s a careful introduction. Though she’s not familiar with cats, her prey drive suggests a cat-free home would be best. If you’re looking for an affectionate, adventure-loving companion who deserves a safe, happy home, Daisy could be the perfect match for you. Could you provide the fresh start she’s been waiting for? Daisy is currently being fostered in Bristol, VT. Fostering to adopt is a possibility, but we want to avoid her feeling shuffled around too much, as she has already experienced loss.
