Meet Antonio, a charming 2.5-year-old male mixed-breed dog from Wheeling, IL. This large, neutered pup brings joy with his friendly gray coat, and is up to date on all vaccinations. He is house trained and is known for his affectionate nature, making him a wonderful companion.

About Antonio

Antonio is a lovable goofball weighing 74 pounds. He embodies the spirit of a high school football star mixed with the charm of a class clown, always ready for an adventure and never meeting a stranger. Rescued from a sanctuary in southern Texas, he arrived under unfortunate circumstances but has since thrived in a caring environment. This handsome boy is friendly, affectionate, and just an overall good dog. Antonio loves people and eagerly welcomes attention, delighting in head pats and returning affection with plenty of kisses. Despite his size, he walks well on a leash, often alongside Annabelle, another dog he came with, proving to be a well-mannered gentleman. Antonio enjoys lounging, often seen in a funny sploot position, like a giant grey frog basking in the sun. He shares space nicely with Annabelle but doesn't need to be adopted with her. Given his cheerful disposition, he deserves a loving home where he can shine as someone's best buddy. If you’re looking for a lovable companion with a heart of gold, Antonio is the one. Adoption applications can be submitted through our website or in person during open hours. Don't miss out on bringing this joy-filled dog into your life. Ready to meet your new best friend?
