At about 4 years old and weighing 17 lbs, Amara might just be the most lovable dog you’ll ever meet. Despite her hardships, she has adapted well to home life, almost like she’s been waiting for the chance to thrive as a dog. She’s smart, too. Amara quickly learned how to use the doggy door, responds to commands like sitting, and even performs little twirls on cue. Her eagerness to please seems genuine as she enjoys making her humans happy. Currently in a foster home with other dogs, Amara is respectful and submissive, rarely demanding attention but occasionally coaxing her furry friends into play. Most importantly, her favorite place is wherever her foster mom is. Whether you’re working at your desk or relaxing on the couch, Amara is right beside you, ready for cuddles. Good manners are Amara’s forte. She hasn’t had any potty accidents, shows no destructive behavior, and settles quietly in her crate.
