About Aggie

Meet Aggie! This sweet silver-grey pup has a heartwarming story to share. Found lonely on a highway near Houston, she has known confusion and solitude, but now she’s ready for her happily ever after. Around 1-2 years old and weighing about 47 pounds, Aggie is a gentle soul with a knack for giving kisses. She may start off a tad shy, but once she warms up, she transforms into the affectionate companion you’ve been looking for. Aggie enjoys the company of other dogs and shares her foster home with a cat, though they are still figuring out their relationship. Aggie is smart and fully house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent recall. She loves car rides and is a great candidate for adventures. Occasionally, this young girl gets a burst of energy and zooms around, but once she’s done, she settles down nicely. She would thrive in a home with children, although her playful excitement might be overwhelming for very young ones. One of her charming quirks is her aversion to getting wet; this Texas girl prefers to keep her beautiful fur dry. Aggie is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, and she's currently completing her heartworm treatment, which is going well. She’ll soon be ready for regular activities. Aggie just needs a loving family who will appreciate her quirks and give her the forever home she deserves.
