About Halo

Meet Halo. This lovely 11-year-old female calico is spayed and eagerly searching for her forever home. Halo's journey began when she was surrendered due to a family member's illness. After spending several months in a shelter, she transitioned into foster care at the end of July. The new surroundings were initially overwhelming, and Halo needed time to adjust and feel secure. After nearly three months of patience and tender care, she has thrived into a talkative and affectionate companion, expressing her joy with head nudges and loud purrs. She particularly enjoys playing with her favorite cat wand toy. Though she can be shy about being picked up, she may eventually sit beside you with enough patience. Halo really shines as an only cat in a quiet home without children, where she can truly relax in a calm environment. Additionally, Halo has special dietary needs and requires Royal Canin Urinary SO CALM kibble and wet food to maintain her kidney health. Her wet food must be mashed with water, creating a soup-like mixture she loves to lap up. Halo has come such a long way and deserves a chance to feel cherished again. If you're interested in offering her a peaceful home, please contact her foster mom, Valerie Van Hoomissen, at 907-715-9304. Your new best friend is just one click away.
