About Sugar

Sugar is a dog worth celebrating! At just five months old, sheโ€™s already been through a lot. After being exposed to canine distemper as a puppy, which is preventable with vaccines, Sugar found herself fighting for her life at a city shelter during an outbreak in San Antonio. Thankfully, her amazing foster family stepped in and provided the constant care and support she needed. They nourished her back to health with special broths and physical therapy that helped her regain her strength. Now, Sugar is thriving. This little girl is deeply affectionate and gets along famously with people and other dogs. She has the body of a Chihuahua with the ears of a Great Dane, yet she'll only reach a petite 15 pounds when sheโ€™s all grown up. Sugarโ€™s journey is a true success story, embodying resilience and spirit. Raise a glass, or even better, submit your application to bring this special girl into your home. She's definitely worth cheering for!
