About Lucky

Meet Lucky, the staff favorite! This gentle soul is looking for a patient and dedicated adopter, ideally female, who understands that building confidence takes time. He needs someone who is committed to guiding him as he learns to trust and thrive. Lucky would do well in a home with another calm dog, especially females, but he’s just as happy being your one and only. While he doesn’t crave a social life, he does enjoy exploring the outdoors, going on car rides, and even attending training classes. After a day of adventure, you’ll find him wanting to cuddle right by your side, soaking up all the love you can give. He’s a bit shy around new people, especially men, but once Lucky has bonded, he becomes a loyal companion. Due to his nervousness with small children and cats, he would thrive best in a more serene environment. If you have a calm home and can provide the love and patience he needs, Lucky could be the perfect fit for you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
