About Wally

Wally is a young female white Labrador mix, around 6-8 months old and weighing about 40 pounds. She was found malnourished along a highway near the Arizona border and has since made a remarkable recovery. Wally is now spayed, chipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her rescuers, who initially named her in honor of pioneering aviator Wally Funk, faced challenges introducing her to a male dog in their home. Fortunately, Wally gets along well with their younger female dog and is curious about cats, although she hasn't interacted with them directly. She's affectionate with adults and is quickly learning commands like 'Sit' and 'Focus' while working on her leash-walking skills. Wally would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and owners who enjoy an active lifestyle, making her a delightful addition for the right family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
