About Happy

Happy weighs about 29 pounds and, together with her sisters Doc and Sneezy, came to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Mississippi. These sweet ladies have shown signs of being unsocialized in the past, making them a bit anxious in new scenarios. However, Happy has started to reveal a playful and silly side as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She absolutely adores people and was well-behaved during her veterinary exam, even ending it with some affectionate cuddles with the technician. Happy thrives when she’s around other dogs, and her confidence grows significantly in their company. We believe she would do best in a home with a social, confident adult dog who can guide her as she embraces life in New Hampshire. Happy is listed as a Schnauzer mix but may also have a bit of Border Collie in her. If you’re interested in helping this shy yet loving girl find her forever home, visit her at the shelter in Stratham, NH. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
