About Harriet
Meet Harriett โ the Queen of Cozy, Belly Rubs, and Downward Dog. At 10 years old and 56 pounds, sheโs a sweet senior Pittie mix who has perfected enjoying life's simple pleasures: comfy beds, leisurely walks, and unlimited belly rubs. She loves her daily walks and is a fantastic leash walker. Harriett may not be a toy enthusiast, but she's been spotted practicing her Downward Dog yoga pose. Maybe sheโs getting ready to launch her own senior fitness program? Don't forget the important post-workout belly rubs! Harriett is crate-trained and house-trained, making her a well-mannered guest. She's incredibly sweet, particularly affectionate towards the man in her foster home. While she hasnโt met children yet, she currently shares her foster home with another senior dog and two cats. She's curious about the cats, giving them a sniff but mostly ignoring them. Though Harriett is a little hard of hearing and has a grade 2 heart murmur that needs monitoring, she still has so much love to give. She's the perfect reminder that the best things in life donโt have to be loud or flashy. Sometimes, it's just a gentle soul, a peaceful walk, a soft bed, and someone to cherish the golden years. Could you be the one to offer this lovely lady the cozy retirement she deserves? Harriett is ready to find a forever home filled with comfort, kindness, and all the belly rubs her heart desires.
