Louise is a resilient six-month-old boxer lab mix who overcame incredible odds. She was found with her sister, Thelma, in dire conditions, scavenging for food on the side of the road. Thanks to the efforts of caring individuals, they were rescued and brought to a shelter. Louise has made remarkable progress in foster care, gaining strength and health that she desperately needed. Though she may have been stunted by her past, it's clear she’s full of gratitude and love. Louise is currently in foster care in Clinton, Wisconsin. With a friendly demeanor, she gets along well with cats, dogs, and children, making her an ideal addition to any family. Louise is house trained and on the road to becoming a happy, healthy companion. She is looking for her forever home and is ready to accept applications now.
