About Juniper

Juniper is a beautiful Great Pyrenees in search of her forever home. This lovely lady, about 7 years old, weighs around 95 lbs. She's been known to get along well with other dogs. While we haven't observed her with cats or children yet, we're more than happy to talk about how to integrate her into a new environment. Currently residing at the shelter, Juniper is undergoing treatment for heartworms—a condition she tested positive for. Rest assured, heartworm isn’t contagious and can be treated effectively. After treatment, she can lead a normal and active life. She’ll need a calm space to recover for about 4-6 weeks but, once she's feeling better, she's ready to enjoy those sniffy walks and adventures that every dog loves. Juniper dreams of having her own humans to cuddle and share life’s little joys with. A comfy dog bed and good food are on her wish list too, but what she truly seeks is a loving home. If you're looking to welcome a furry friend, consider giving Juniper a chance. This could be the start of something special.
